notes: We haven't had much luck with blueberries—or, to put it more precisely, we haven't had much skill. They need acidic soil, lots of water, and netting to keep the birds from making off with all the berries, and so far we have never managed to provide any of those things. We now have six plants: two (Elliot and Jersey) that are a few years old, and four more (two Atlantic and two Bluecrop) that we put in spring of 2011.
