Collard Greens
About:
Collards are wonderful because they very well might be the first greens you can harvest in the spring and the last one in the fall—or even winter!
Tips:
Plant outdoors in early spring 1 to 2 feet apart. Harvest leaves from the lower part of the plant. The flower buds (which appear on our semi-wild collards) are edible (and tasty!) before they open.
